For those in imminent risk
SHE provides a Safe Accommodation service for those who are at imminent risk of severe harm from family violence. It is a specialised service with strict criteria and a number of conditions of entry.
Access to the service requires an intensive assessment process to ensure suitability and safety for clients.
Safe Accommodation is provided on a short-term crisis basis with eligibility reviewed each day. Proactive engagement from clients is required.
If a client is not eligible to access Safe Accommodation, we will work closely with them to create alternative safety options.
Please note, Safe Accommodation is not emergency accommodation.
